BLUFF

Privacy policy

Your table stays yours.

Last updated: October 23, 2026

This policy explains what BLUFF: Draw & Deceive (“BLUFF”), an iPhone game made by AutoSolve Labs, uses to run your games, who processes it, and how long it is kept. BLUFF has no accounts, no advertising and no tracking.

The short version: online rooms use your display name, mark, drawing strokes, votes, scores and chat so four people can play together. Room data is deleted 30 minutes after a room empties. Voice is relayed live and never recorded. AI images are opt-in, and player names, chat, audio and seat tokens are never sent to the AI provider.

What the game uses

Online rooms use your chosen display name and mark, a random room-player identifier, a secret seat token, drawing strokes, votes, scores, and the last 50 chat messages. Cloudflare hosts these records so your room can play together and reconnect. Other people in your room can see shared content; secret roles and votes are withheld until the game permits their reveal.

Games against the computer (Pip, Juno and Otis) run entirely on your iPhone. The optional AI reveal is the only network request a solo game makes.

Optional AI images

BLUFF asks you once whether finished drawings may be brought to life. Your answer is stored on your phone and you can change it any time in Settings. In an online room, a round’s shared drawing and object word are sent to OpenAI only when all four players have said yes before the round starts. In a solo game against computer players, your round’s drawing and object word are sent only if you said yes. Player names, chat, audio, and seat tokens are never sent to OpenAI. You can always play with drawings only. Changing your choice applies to future rounds; it cannot recall a drawing already sent.

OpenAI processes the submitted image and word under its privacy policy and API data controls. BLUFF does not use your content for advertising or sell it. Solo images are returned straight to your phone and are not stored by BLUFF.

Voice and SharePlay

Microphone access is optional. In-app voice is relayed live to the room and is not recorded or stored by BLUFF. SharePlay shares the room code through Apple’s Group Activities service; FaceTime audio is handled by Apple and its controls. Muting BLUFF does not mute FaceTime.

Photos

If you choose to save a drawing and its AI interpretation, BLUFF asks for permission to add it to your photo library. BLUFF can only add images; it does not read your photos.

Storage and deletion

Room data and generated images are deleted from BLUFF’s room storage after the room has been empty for 30 minutes. Disconnected seats expire after 10 minutes. Rooms that remain occupied retain their game state. Your gallery keeps up to 20 rounds on your iPhone; long-press a gallery card to delete it. Deleting a local copy does not delete copies another participant saved or shared. Device backups follow your Apple backup settings.

Cloudflare receives network information to deliver requests. BLUFF hashes IP addresses for short-lived abuse limits. Operational data may also be processed by Cloudflare under its privacy policy. BLUFF has no advertising or tracking SDKs. Apple may provide crash reports and feedback under its own terms, if you have chosen to share them with developers.

Your choices

Use a nickname, keep room codes private, leave any room, turn off microphone access in iOS Settings, or decline AI. Do not put personal or sensitive information in drawings or chat. Support requests contain only what you choose to send.

Children

BLUFF is a party game for friends and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has shared personal information in a room, contact us and we will help remove it.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date above. Significant changes will also be noted in the app’s release notes.
